One person was been wounded by gunfire during an attack on Israel's embassy in Ankara, Turkey.
Turkish NTV reported that the shooting took place while two people attempted to enter the embassy, though the number of attackers has not been confirmed.
Witnesses claim a man armed with a knife shouted "Allahu akbar" while attempting to enter the embassy.
According to a report by CNN, the incident was an attempted stabbing attack, and the attacker was shot in the leg by a Turkish police officer.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry issued a statement, saying that all embassy staff members were safe and accounted for.
According to a Ministry spokesperson, one assailant targeting the embassy was shot by a security agent.
"The assailant was shot and wounded by a local security man," the spokesperson said, adding that he was "wounded before he reached the embassy."
Local police are currently examining a suspicious object at the scene.

2. 'RABIN CENTER IMMORTALIZES US AS OCCUPIERS'
by Arutz Sheva Staff
Leaders from the YESHA council visited the Yitzhak Rabin Center in Tel Aviv. Director General of the Judea and Samaria council (YESHA) Shilo Adler shared his thoughts with Arutz Sheva about the visit.
Adler stated that, "At the center's request we came for a tour of the museum. The most important point from the trip came from the visit was the request from Dalia Rabin, the family and the Rabin Center is way to connect the religious nationalist community, the settlers and the next generation of Rabin's legacy, and we have a long way to go before that happens."
"The Rabin Center immortalizes us as occupiers and immortalizes Rabin as the father of the Oslo Accords, and to us the Oslo Accords are the worst thing to have happened to Israel," Adler told Arutz Sheva, "Instead of immortalizing Rabin as a military leader, as a prime minister and a man of many great accomplishments."
Adler stated that "If they want to see how we could continue together, beyond discussions, the center needs to express Israeli society as it truly is, something that's not currently happening."
In reflection, Adler explained that settlers are constantly attacked from both the left and the right. He sated that, "The protests against Rabin were not a mistake, they were an expression of democratic freedom."
"There are extremists in every society and today we know who publicized those photos of Rabin in Nazi uniforms," he told Arutz Sheva.
Adler explained explained that "the YESHA leadership didn't intend to incite violence, and even today when we protest we do it in an orderly fashion as we this country as our home."
"As a child I protested Rabin's policies and I don't regret it," Adler explained, "The democratic way of protest is the right way. The central idea is that we signed agreements that were meant to lead us to a better place politically. We've just come through a weekend of terror attacks that are not connected to any peace agreements but are simply attacks upon the state."
"I'm flying to New York today for a conference about boycotts, not against the settlements, but against Israel," he emphasized, "even here, in the Yitzhak Rabin Center, they are depicting the problems of 48' and not of 67'."
Adler added that, "it's always good to come visit but, today, this center is not fit for the religious nationalist community or the settlers." Adler explained that, "the museum sends a clear anti-settlement message," and stated that, "the museum never mentions all those who were killed as a result of the Oslo Accords. We will continue the dialogue with Dalia Rabin. I am pleased to be invited and I hope the process of bringing us closer continues."
3. SOUTHERN COMMAND: HAMAS IS READY FOR THE NEXT WAR
by Arutz Sheva Staff
General of the Southern Command, Eyal Zamir, at a conference for southern residents explained that Hamas is preparing for the next round of fighting.
Zamir emphasized that, "we have no intentions to make the situation worse but we will react to any shot fired with the appropriate level of force."
Regarding Hamas he said, "unfortunately they are utilizing this quiet period to prepare for the next battle."
In the conference, the Major-General said, "in the last decade, and since the withdrawal from Gush Katif and the IDF's exit from the Gaza Strip, we have had three military operations." He explained that the past two years have been the quietest, relatively, in the past decade, and they are being used to expand settlements around Gaza.
Zamir clarified that the "IDF won't let terrorist organizations, led by Hamas, harm Israeli citizens. We have no intentions of escalating the situation, but we will react to every hit with the appropriate amount of force."
"On the idea of trying to lengthen the period of quiet, we are continuing to address the threats below and above ground in order to protect Israel's citizens and destroy the threats."
Yesterday an Israeli Air Force fighter jet shot down an unmanned aircraft from the Gaza Strip an army spokesman said.
The unmanned craft, believed to be controlled by Hamas, was detected flying along the Gaza coastline.

6. THE MYTH OF 'PRIVATE ARAB LANDS' IN JUDEA AND SAMARIA
by Hillel Fendel
Yoav Elitzur resides in Ofrah, the first Jewish community in the Binyamin area of Judea and Samaria in the modern age (founded in 1975). He has produced a short video, in Hebrew, in which he explains succinctly how the myth of, "privately-owned Arab lands in Judea and Samaria," came to be. His explanation, if disseminated sufficiently far and wide, should take the air out of the sails of the left-wing organizations which are seeking to destroy the Jewish presence in Judea and Samaria, by claiming that it is founded upon lands that belong to others. In Elitzur's words:
"My name is Yoav Elitzur. I grew up in Ofrah, and my children are now on the verge of raising the fourth generation of Elitzurs in Ofrah. In the heart of my town, at the end of my block, are nine houses that the Supreme Court has ruled must be razed within a few months. In addition, from my window I can see the community of Amona, the entirety of which must be destroyed by the end of the year, by the demand of the High Court. Why? Because, the High Court says, 'they are located on privately-owned lands.'
"The question that lies at the base of the entire issue seems like an ethical one: How can we allow ourselves to build homes and communities on lands that belong to individuals, whether it be Ahmed, or Sa'id, or another; who bought it with his own hard-earned money, and who uses it to support his family? How can we take lands that belong to someone else?
"To understand this, we must answer a simple question hovering in the air, but which no one in the media is asking: How can it be that a full 90% (!) of the homes that the Supreme Court ruled must be razed have no claimants? Never did that Ahmed, or that Sa'id, come and say, 'This is my land!' No one knows who he is! If he exists, why doesn't he come and claim it? After all, all the work has already been done for him. There has already been a court case, and he has won; now all he has to do and come and say, 'It's mine!'
"Maybe it's hard to find him? Not quite. The left-wing organizations are investing tremendous efforts to find these 'owners,' but have not succeeded. How can this be?
"The answer is that the subject of, 'private lands,' is, on the whole, a total lie. Most of these lands never actually belonged to any Arab. So how could it be that they are registered in the names of private Arab individuals?
"For this we need a short historical explanation. In 1950, King Hussein of Jordan decided to annex Judea and Samaria to Jordan. No one in the world other than Great Britain recognized this annexation, and certainly none of the Arab states. For some reason, possibly in order to shore up his regime, Hussein decided to organize the lands [over which he had no recognized claim] by simply dividing them up as gifts – no matter if they were rocky hillsides or otherwise unusable – to various individuals. He started the process in the Ramallah area, the area of Binyamin – where Ofrah, Beit El, and many other Jewish towns are now located. Whatever parcels of land were left over, King Hussein gave to the local mukhtars, so that they would register them in the names of their village residents.
"Thus was created a situation in which people had land in their names, but they never saw it, never knew about it, and certainly never invested even one shekel in it [or paid taxes on it.] Precisely because of the rocky, unusable nature of these lands is why Amona and other Jewish towns were built specifically there – so that it would be certain that it is now owned by individuals.
"Thus, 90% of the lands are simply unowned, no matter how many times the falsehood and lie to the contrary is repeated.
"But what about the 10% that truly are privately-owned? In such cases, the policy must be exactly as it is everywhere else in the country: The owners should be compensated. And in fact, this is exactly what we did here in Ofrah. We went to Arabs who owned land encompassing the town, we paid them, and then we built our chicken coops on the land that we had just bought. Not long afterwards, however, the Arab who sold us the land was found dead at the bottom of the well in his village.
"Thus, it was the Arabs who actually set the stage for the continuation of the story. They told their fellow Arabs: 'You are not allowed to sell your land, for it is actually not really yours. We are in the midst of a national struggle, and you cannot do with this land as you wish. If you do, you will die.'
"In other words, the Arabs changed it from an issue of 'individual' ownership to a national issue – and thus there are no more privately-owned lands.
"In this national struggle, then, of the Arabs against the Jewish People and the State of Israel, they'll take their approach [video backdrop shows Muslims beheading their victims], and we will take our approach [backdrop shows irrigated and blossoming fields]. We will try to purchase, or officially annex, lands; and to do what we can to settle the Land of Israel and build our communities.
"Thus it is totally dishonest to relate to these lands as if they are privately owned, when in fact the matter is one of a struggle between peoples over the Land of Israel."

7. 'I CAME HERE TO DIE'
by David Rosenberg
A teenage girl was shot and lightly wounded Wednesday morning after she charged security guards near the town of Alfei Menashe in western Samaria.
The suspect, who ignored repeated orders to halt as she approached a checkpoint, was shot and neutralized as she appeared to be reaching for a weapon.
Initial reports indicate the suspect is a 13-year old girl who arrived at the Eliyahu checkpoint on foot, carrying a concealed knife. The Eliyahu checkpoint is a cars-only crossing and pedestrians are prohibited from walking through it.
When she arrived at the checkpoint, security guards ordered her to halt, but the suspect charged the guards, who fired warning shots in the air and demanded she stop immediately.
As the attacker approached them and began to reach into her shirt in a suspicious manner, the guards shot her in the legs, neutralizing her.
After her capture, the girl reportedly told security forces that she had planned on being killed during the attack. "I came to die," she said. In the past, Arab girls and women have perpetrated terror attacks to avoid honor killings.
The incident is the latest in a string of stabbing attacks across the country.
On Sunday, an Arab terrorist infiltrated the town of Efrat, south of Jerusalem, and stabbed an army reservist.
A day later, a Jerusalem Arab stabbed two Israeli police officers near Herod's Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Two more attacks on Monday were foiled in the Hevron area, with a third attempt made on Tuesday.
