1. ONE KILLED, THREE WOUNDED IN SHOOTING ATTACK SOUTH OF HEVRON
by Arutz Sheva Staff

One person was killed and three others wounded in a shooting attack at the Adorayim Junction south of Hevron in Judea.

According to initial reports, terrorists opened fire on two Israeli civilian vehicles, striking both and causing one to overturn.

The fatality has been identified as a 30-year-old man. The other three victims - one seriously injured, the other two moderately and lightly wounded respectively - were treated at the scene by Magen David Adom paramedics, before being evacuated to hospital.

More information will be updated when it is available.

The latest attack comes just hours after an attempted stabbing at the Tomb of the Patriarchs in nearby Hevron.

In that incident, a female Arab terrorist was shot dead when she drew a knife and attempted to stab Israeli soldiers guarding the holy site. There were no Israeli casualties in that incident.

Yesterday (Thursday), a 13-year-old Israeli girl was murdered as she slept in her bed in the town of Kiryat Arba, by an Arab terrorist armed with a knife. The terrorist also wounded a member of the town's security team responding to the attack before other security team members shot him dead.

As the funeral of young Hallel-Yaffa Ariel took place, further north in Netanya a second Arab terrorist struck, wounding two civilians at a local market before being shot dead.

2. ATTEMPTED STABBING ATTACK NEAR TOMB OF THE PATRIARCHS
by Arutz Sheva Staff

An Arab terrorist tried to stab people by the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hevron before being shot by nearby IDF and Border Police forces.

The terrorist reportedly approached a Border Police post at an entrance to the site and pulled out a knife before she was shot. No one else was harmed.

The IDF and Border Police arrested ten Arabs in Judea and Samaria overnight. Most of the suspects were Hamas members who were involved in terror attacks and riots. All ten have been taken for questioning.

In addition, the IDF and the Civil Administration mapped out Mahmad Natzer Mahmoud Traira's home in the village of Bnei Naim. Traira stabbed Hallel Yaffa Ariel to death in her Kiryat Arba bed and injured another civilian on Thursday.

3. PROFESSIONAL POKER SPEAKS OUT ON ANTI-SEMITISM IN GAME
by Arutz Sheva Staff

A professional poker player is denouncing what she considers widespread anti-Semitism in the in professional poker.

Thirty-one-year-old Jaclynn Moskow, who is also a doctor of osteopathic medicine, recently talked to New York Daily News about her first appearance on the popular show Poker Night. At the end of the taping she expressed her enjoyment to fellow player Chris Hanson. Hanson responded that "The thing about Poker Night that makes it so great is that there are no Jews. Every other show on TV has Jews."

Moskow hails from the Midwestern US and says that many people don't initially realize that she is Jewish.

Hanson's attorney later released a statement denying that her client made the remark, though a recording has come out in which Hanson acknowledged saying that Poker Night is good because it doesn't have Jews.

Moskow also claims that Nolan Dalla, a popular poker writer, both sexually assaulted her and made offensive remarks about her religion. "I usually have strong opinions about Jews and Israel," he allegedly told her after sticking his face in her chest, "but somehow the fact that YOU are Jewish makes you even hotter."

Dalla recently wrote an extended post on the poker website TwoPlusTwo, in which he claimed that he couldn't have sexually harassed Moskow because "there's nothing I find the least bit attractive about her." Another player who was present at the time, though, has suggested that Moskow's description of the events is accurate.

Moskow faces a strong backlash for criticizing leading figures in the field. She says that a private investigator has contacted her family and friends. Most opponents, though, limit themselves to insults. "I've been called a gold-digging Jew... an attention-starved psycho, a bad poker player... the list goes on and on, I can't keep up with all the insults that have been throw at me," she said.

Despite the difficulties, Moskowitz insists that she will continue both competing in poker tournaments and standing up for herself.

4. 'SHE WAS A GRACEFUL AND AMAZING DANCER'
by Eliran Aharon

Esther Mirom, the director of the Harikud dance national studio in which Hallel-Yaffa Ariel participated, told Arutz Sheva about her talented student who was viciously murdered on Thursday.

"Hallel was an amazing dancer. She studied here for five years. What characterized her was her very strong and meaningful quietness. She was graceful and an amazing dancer. She came with her grace and her quiet."

The evening before Ariel's death, she performed in Jerusalem as part of a performance that traveled around the country. "We were in Orot. There was an unbelievable show - people really went wild and Hallel also enjoyed herself. Hallel was part of the dance family. Her last performance was sort of a graduation party."

The terrorist who killed Ariel broke into her family's home in Kiryat Arba, then proceeded to lock himself in Hallel's room and stab her repeatedly. He was later killed by security forces.

5. NETANYAHU PAYS CONDOLENCE CALL TO HALLEL-YAFFA'S FAMILY
by Ido Ben-Porat

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu paid a condolence call on Hallel-Yaffa Ariel's family in Kiryat Arba on Friday morning.

Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman (Yisrael Beytenu) joined Netanyahu, along with Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel (Jewish Home) and Kiryat Arba-Hevron council head Malachi Levinger.

Netanyahu spoke with Hallel's parents and listened to stories about their 13-year-old daughter who was murdered in a vicious terror attack on Thursday.

"We strengthen this place," he said. "Apart from the fighting, we will make it stronger. I will sit with the Defense Minister and we will decide how to strengthen the community.

"To see Hallel's room, to see the blood stains next to her bed and the books and clothes of a small child, this is shocking. It reminds us again who we are facing. They want to uproot what has been planted and we will deepen the roots. They will not make us leave here. I was impressed by this splendid family. Their spirit will not break and neither will ours. We will deepen the roots."

Ariel added: "I thank the Prime Minister for coming here to console the mourners, the Ariel gamily in Kiryat Arba. The parents are determined to continue to build and be built here in the area along with the Prime Minister who will decide what needs to be done vis-à-vis security and regarding the community. We are continuing on the Jewish People's long journey. Together we will win."

At the same time that the politicians were at the Ariel home, another terrorist tried to carry out a stabbing attack in nearby Hevron.

A 27-year-old woman from the village of Bani Naim - the same village where Ariel's murderer came from - approached a Border Police stand outside of the Tomb of the Patriarchs and pulled out a knife. A nearby officer shot and killed her. There were no other injuries.

6. ROUHANI LAMENTS: SYRIA WAR MEANS HARD TO FOCUS ON HARMING ISRAEL
by Arutz Sheva Staff

Tens of thousands joined pro-Palestinian rallies in Tehran on Friday, as the annual Quds Day protests take on broader meaning for a region mired in bitter disputes and war.

Israel and its perceived supporters in the United States and Britain are still the main bogeymen of the Quds (Jerusalem) Day protests, which saw thousands more rally across Iran and in allied countries.

But the focus has also turned to the deepening rivalry with Saudi Arabia and jihadists such as ISIS.

Sajad Saber, a 24-year-old student, said it was the first time he had attended the rally in Tehran -- triggered by the death of a friend who had gone to fight in Syria.

"(He) was my buddy and lived in our neighborhood. He was killed by Daesh recently in Aleppo," said Saber, using the Arabic name for ISIS.

Iran is fighting ISIS and other jihadist groups in Syria as part of its support for the regime of Bashar al-Assad.

Huge groups of protesters converged on Tehran University under a blistering summer sun.

Many -- from young children to elderly ladies -- sported red bandanas with "I love fighting Israel" written on them.

President Hassan Rouhani, attending the rally, said regional conflicts were making it increasingly difficult to address the Palestinian issue.

"Today, due to the divisions in the Islamic world, the presence of takfiris (Sunni extremists) and terrorists in the region... we are far away from the ideal of liberating Palestine," he told state TV, calling for greater unity between Muslims.

Many in Iran see these divisions as part of a deliberate conspiracy.

"Daesh is the creation of Israel. They want Muslims to fight each other and Palestine to be forgotten," said Ali Kotobi, a 63-year-old Iranian born in Iraq, who said his cousins were currently fighting ISIS across the border.

- 'Dogs of America' -

However, much of the vitriol at the protests was also turned on Iran's main regional rival, Saudi Arabia.

Tensions between the two powers have plummeted over their support for opposing sides in wars in Yemen and Syria.

They have been further soured by the failure to agree on terms for Iranian pilgrims to visit Saudi Arabia for the annual hajj in September.

One elderly man at Friday's rally led a group in shouting "Damned House of Saud, dogs of America!" in reference to the leaders of Sunni-ruled Saudi Arabia.

One group carried a fake coffin featuring Saudi Arabia's leaders and slogans against Daesh Sunni extremists.

Opposition to Israel has been a central issue for the Islamic Republic since it took power in 1979.

Quds Day was inaugurated by the late revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, and has become a popular way for the Iranian government to rally the faithful.

"We ousted the Shah with these slogans," said Mostafa Mokhtari, a 43-year-old electrical engineer, referring to the Islamic revolution of 1979 that ended the rule of the US-backed Shah.

"If all the Muslims of the world keep saying this, we can destroy the Zionist regime."

7. TRUMP PULLS AHEAD OF CLINTON IN POLL
by Arutz Sheva Staff

A new survey from Rasmussen Reports has found that Donald Trump has taken the lead from Hillary Clinton in the US presidential race.

The poll, conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, questioned 1,000 people both by telephone and online. It has a 3 percent margin of error and 95 percent level of confidence.

Analysts found that 43 percent of likely voters support Trump, while only 39 expressed a preference for Clinton. Another 12 percent are still backing another candidate and five percent are undecided.

Last week's poll put Clinton at 44 percent and Trump at 39 percent. Rasmussen Reports suggests that both candidates are losing support from their own party bases; 14 percent of Democrats said they would vote for Trump, while 10 percent of Republicans expect to vote for Clinton.

Regarding specific issues, most Americans are not concerned about Brexit and expect Clinton would continue Obama's "lukewarm" national security policies. Most believe that Trump would offer drastic changes, though many fear that the changes would cause more harm than good.

8. TRUMP TO ANTI-ISRAEL MAN: WE SUPPORT ISRAEL '100 PERCENT'
by Ben Ariel

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Thursday reiterated his support for Israel and said that, as President, he would "protect Israel 100 percent".

Trump's comments, quoted by The Washington Free Beacon, came in response to a question by an anti-Israel man who attended his New Hampshire rally.

The man took the microphone during the question-and-answer section of the event and told Trump he had two points to make.

"Number one, I'm opposed to the murder of unborn babies being legal," he said. "Number two, I'm opposed to our wasting our military in the Middle East on behalf of Zionist Israel. Thank you."

In response, Trump said, "Well, let me just tell you Israel is a very, very important ally of the United States, and we are going to protect them 100 percent. 100 percent."

Israel, added Trump, has "been our most reliable—it's our true friend over there, and we're going to protect Israel 100 percent. As to number one, we're with you."

Trump has continuously expressed his support for Israel and has promised to increase American military aid to the Jewish state.

A a senior aide to Trump recently told Israel's Channel 2 News that Israel need not rush to negotiate a new Memorandum of Understanding with the current administration because a Trump White House would significantly increase aid to Israel.

"Our view is that the aid package to Israel will certainly not go down, and in all likelihood it will go up in a material amount, because Israel must maintain a technological and military superiority in the region," he said.

The advisor also hinted that Israel would find the terms of negotiation with a Trump presidency far more favorable than with the current administration.
