1. REPORT: ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT ON NETANYAHU THWARTED
by Nitsan Keidar
According to a report in the Kuwaiti-based Al Jarida newspaper, Kenyan security forces foiled an attack targeting Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's convoy during his visit to Kenya earlier this week.
A senior security official told the paper that Kenyan police altered the convoy's route just before its departure from the Nairobi airport.
The change was so sudden it sparked an argument between Netanyahu's body guards and local security forces, according to the paper.
It was later revealed that Kenyan intelligence services had uncovered a plot to attack the Prime Minister's convoy on its way from the airport to a Nairobi hotel.
The report claims two people were arrested in connection with the planned attack.

All of Israel was shocked by the tragic story of Hallel Ariel, the beloved dancer who was murdered in her sleep by a terrorist.
Now, a Youtube clip has turned her last dance, which she performed only hours before her death, into a memorial for both Hallel and the other victims terrorism.
While Ariel dances in the video, the singer denounces the lack of sympathy for Israeli victims of terror. "Just another number, a statistic from a poll... She's just another enemy in the Middle East. Treat her like a human being or like a pet at least."
Activists and world leaders may "preach about humanity, sing for human rights," but the singer reminds them that "before our children go to sleep they turn on all the lights."
The song closes with the lyrics "Another child is dead. A beautiful girl who was stabbed in her bed. Little dancer is dead."
3. DID ISRAEL SPY ON FRENCH PRIME MINISTER?
by Nitsan Keidar
Did Israeli intelligence tap into French Prime Minister Manuel Valls cellular phone and the phones of staff members during his recent trip to Jerusalem?
According to a report in the French paper L'Express, staff members joining Valls for a meeting with Israeli officials were asked to leave their cellular devices at a security check – a routine procedure, the paper wrote.
But to their astonishment, when they received their phones back they began experiencing strange technical problems never before seen.
When the Prime Minister and his staff returned to France, they submitted their phones for a security check, concerned their devices may have been bugged.
Valls' office responded to the report saying that the security check after the trip was routine and that there was no reason to suspect wrongdoing. "France believes that allies never spy on one another."
In Israel, the Prime Minister's office denied the suggestion Israel had planted spy software on the French delegation's phones.
A senior Israeli official told Arutz Sheva the L'Express article was a "ludicrous report", and pointed out that France and Israel are on friendly terms and share intelligence information on a regular basis.
4. BEREAVED MOTHER: ASCEND TEMPLE MOUNT IN MEMORY OF SLAIN DAUGHTER
by Shai Landesman

A week after 13-year-old Hallel-Yaffa Ariel was murdered in her bed in Kiryat Arba, her mother is calling for Jews to join the family in ascending the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in Hallel's memory.
The bereaved mother, Rina, posted a video online after ending the week-long "Shiva" mourning period, in which she invites people to come ascend the Temple Mount with her and her family next Tuesday, and explains why they've decided upon this plan.
"A week ago exactly, a terrorist broke into our house, and slaughtered our daughter, stabbing her in her heart. We've just ended our week of mourning, and we feel a need to strengthen not only our hearts, but the hearts of the entire Jewish people," the Rina opened, "Our heart, and the Jewish people's heart, resides in the Temple Mount, and this Tuesday, we call on everyone to ascend to the Mount in purity, at 8:30."
Ariel made sure to clarify that the plan isn't meant as an act of aggression or offense against anyone.
"Don't join us from a place of hate or war, but from a place of strengthening our hearts. Whoever, for whatever reason, can't come up to the mount, come and be with us below it, give us support, so that we'll have strength, and the heart of the Jewish people will continue beating."
5. REFORM WORSHIPPERS CLASH WITH HAREDI PROTESTERS AT WESTERN WALL
by Shai Landesman
Controversy over the matter of Reform and Conservative services at the Western Wall has flared up again today.
Reform and Conservative activists arrived at the Western Wall this morning (Thursday) to hold mixed-gender prayers, and clashed with haredi protesters.
According to an Army Radio report, members of the 'Women of the Wall' organization had arrived earlier and smuggled a Torah scroll into the women's section, where they held a mixed prayer service in opposition to the generally accepted norm at the Wall.
Gilad Kariv, the Executive Director of the Israel Movement for Reform and Progressive Judaism, (IMPJ), declared that the fight for changing the norms of prayer at the Wall will continue with full force, and told media that the organization is going to petition the Supreme Court on Sunday to rule against the position of the Religious Services Ministry Attorney General who had prohibited the mixed services at the Wall.
"Unfortunately we will have to petition the Supreme Court, and we have no intention to relinquish our right to bring hundreds of Reform and Conservative Jews to the Wall for gatherings of song, Torah study, and personal prayer," Kariv stated.
Yesterday, Religious Services Ministry Attorney General Yisrael Pat released a letter making clear that mixed-gender prayers at the Western Wall are prohibited.
6. ISIS 'KILL LISTS' TARGET US SYNAGOGUES
by Shai Landesman
ISIS has released a 'kill list' naming over 1,700 targets in the US for attack, the International Business Times reported Wednesday, with the choice of target exhibiting the murderous terror group's anti-Semitic tendencies.
The targets are individuals, specifically people with memberships in synagogues of churches, according to the report.
The list was first discovered by intelligence analyst group SITE, after having been released online by the "United Cyber Caliphate", ISIS's computer hacking arm. The directives accompanying the list reportedly call for ISIS sympathizers to carry out more 'lone wolf' attacks of the type seen in the nightclub shooting in Orlando, urging potential terrorists to find the people on the list and: "kill them", or "slay them."
While some have dismissed the list as a meaningless internet post, law enforcement officials in the United States have begun to take these threats more seriously. Nashville news station WSMV reports that FBI agents are warning people in the area of their inclusion.
"When we find information like this, we're always doing our best to contact the public, let them know, even if we don't understand why necessarily that information was out there or compromised," FBI assistant special agent-in charge Matthew Espenshade said.
SITE provided some background for the practice of publishing 'kill lists'. "With targets spanning drone operators to random civilians, these lists appear to have achieved at least part of their presumed intentions: heightened alert by government workers, FBI visits to startled civilians, and significant media attention."
According to the intelligence group, use of this tactic has been on the rise, with the number of lists-and the number of names per list-having increased over the past year.

A kippah-clad, tzitzit-wearing beatboxing duo has advanced on "America's Got Talent."
Ilan Swartz-Brownstein and Josh Leviton of Manhattan performed to Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass" on the NBC reality show Tuesday night for the final episode of the season's auditions.
Their performance was rewarded with a resounding yes from all four judges, moving them to the next round of the competition.
Swartz-Brownstein, a student at Yeshiva University, and Leviton, a consultant, met three years ago at the Western Wall when they were yeshiva students in Israel, they told the judges.
Leviton, who goes by the moniker "The Orthobox," has performed with the popular Jewish a cappella group The Maccabeats. Swartz-Brownstein is known as "The Aleph Bass."
In their audition video submitted last year, they were beatboxing to "Hava Nagila."
