Public Security Minister Gil'ad Erdan has condemned the activists who barricaded themselves in the synagogue of Amona to interfere with the uprooting of the Samarian Jewish community.
Erdan said "Those who are barricaded in the synagogue are hooligans who are to be condemned in every way. They bring scorn on Judaism and have no respect for religion, synagogue and rabbis. I expect the police to act decisively to remove them."
The Police Spokesman stated Thursday that "police units in the Amona area will continue and complete the evacuation of the area. Police officers are talking with leaders of the community in an effort to deal with the situation and complete the evacuation of the synagogue without major incidents."
At present more than 200 youths are barricaded inside the synagogue of Amona and police are preparing to break into the synagogue. Police have begun to evacuate the building next to the synagogue in which activists had been barricaded overnight.

"Since the evacuation began yesterday 24 policeman were injured lightly and over 800 people have been removed from the area by police officers. 13 people were arrested for throwing stones at officers and being involved in disturbances during the evacuation."‏

2. 'PUNCHES IN THE EYE AND KNEES TO THE TEETH'
by Ido ben-Porat
Elazar, one of hundreds of young people who came to Amona to encourage the residents, reported yesterday (Wednesday) on police violence he experienced during the evacuation.
At the outset Elazar related that before the evacuation commenced he was staying at the home of Yehoyada and Tamar Nizri, longtime Amona residents: "I sat in the corner of the living room, near the family. The moment they came to expel us I sat on the floor with another young man, we linked arms, and suddenly five of them charged us - one stood over me, stamped on my hands, punching me in the eye and kneeing my teeth without blinking, pulling my nose straight up without my having done anything - I didn't move at all."
According to him, the policemen started beating him and his friends with no provocation, "They just started hitting. My eye swelled up, all the bones in my entire jaw are still sore, they shoved us into a wall while no-one was looking. Two of us, five cops on us, beating the [daylights] out of us".
Elazar does not understand why police used violence for no reason: "Do what you must, lift us, that's your right, but who asked you to beat us up to separate us? Beating, punching, right in the eye, without blinking at all."
According to Elazar they were intended to be painful blows, "They twisted my fingers, and besides that it was mainly blows to the face but also to the hands and fingers."
The Honeinu legal-aid organization reports that all Amona detainees have been released. Legal assistance was provided by Honeinu attorneys Nati Rom and Azriel Friedenburg, who also aided in their release process.
Honeinu says "complaints about police violence continue to flow in". Extreme police violence on the buses is being reported, where police confiscated all phones and photographic equipment and then proceeded to beat people.
Complaints indicate that most police brutality took place in areas where police verified they were not being recorded.
Honeinu's Civil Department worked yesterday and throughout the night in the hospitals where those wounded during the evacuation were brought. Honeinu attorney Chaim Bleicher visited the wounded, collected evidence, and documented their injuries for the purpose of filing complaints and claims.
Meanwhile, the last four detainees arrested during a protest near the gates of the Temple Mount will be brought before the Jerusalem Magistrates Court . Attorney Rehavia Piltz of Honeinu provided the detainees with legal assistance.
3. 'THEY TREATED US LIKE ANIMALS, IT WAS APPALLING'
by Benny Toker
Uriel Greenblatt, a student at the Beit El Yeshiva, was barricaded together with tens of youths in the house of Amona Rabbi Yair Frank.
In an Arutz Sheva interview, Greenblatt claimed that the reports by a number of media outlets about police acting gently towards Amona activists are lies. "We sat, more than 100 yeshiva students on the floor holding hands and with clear intentions not to hit any policeman but to behave like sacks of potatoes.
"The police broke a window with a pitchfork and showered glass all over us. They came in and began to kick us and to punch us. There was a lot of violence there," said Greenblatt. "Rabbi Frank asked if they could let him pray a final Maariv prayer in his house. They gave us seven minutes and then went back to hitting us. We hadn't done anything; we sat on the floor and they pummeled us with kicks and punches."
Greenblatt said that wherever there weren't photographers there was violence. "In one room there was someone on top of a bunk bed they just took him and threw him. His leg got jammed and they started punching him until his leg was freed. We asked the officer to remove the Special Unit forces but he said that what they were doing was fine. They treated us like animals, it was appalling."
4. MOALEM-REFAELI: INVESTIGATE POLICE CONDUCT
by Hezky Baruch / Mordechai Sones
MK Shuli Moalem-Refaeli (Jewish Home) called for an investigation into police conduct during the evacuation of Amona, following a growing body of complaints about police brutality during the evacuation.
"I came to Amona on Monday evening and I spent 36 hours straight there. During the expulsion I moved between the homes of residents. It was clear that the conduct of the police officers was restrained and respectful in comparison to their previous expulsion, especially in places where there were public leaders and media teams", says Moalem-Refaeli.
"However, in places where there was no communication or where they ordered the photographers to leave, there were complaints of violence by police officers," says Moalem-Refaeli and continues, "At the Nizri home - where I spent many hours - most of the time a painful expulsion was conducted accompanied by passive resistance and people being dragged out. At times, things got out of hand and excessive force was used, including against family members, requiring me to intervene by shouting and demanding a break. Things calmed down only after my talk with the senior officers."
She said, "Throughout the day I received reports of police brutality on buses and total lack of separation between families who were expelled from their homes and others, causing parents and children of families who were expelled being sent in buses to Tel Aviv instead of alighting at the seminary in Ofra.
"I call on the police to carry out a thorough investigation as always and at the same time I appeal to all those who have been attacked: Go and complain to the Police Investigations Division . The fact that police conduct was better than at previous expulsions does not justify those cases of severe violence, and citizens who came to democratically protest must not remain silent," says Moalem-Refaeli.
5. TRUMP SAYS IRAN 'PUT ON NOTICE' FOR MISSILE FIRING
by Arutz Sheva Staff
Donald Trump tweeted that Iran has been formally warned by the US for firing a ballistic missile over the weekend. Trump repeatedly criticized the Iranian nuclear agreement during the course of his campaign, saying that he would "tear up" the deal if he became president.
Trump wrote that "Iran was on its last legs and ready to collapse until the U.S. came along and gave it a life-line in the form of the Iran Deal: $150 billion.
"Iran has been formally PUT ON NOTICE for firing a ballistic missile. Should have been thankful for the terrible deal the U.S. made with them!" (Emphasis Trump's)
According to a 2015 U.N. resolution endorsing the Iranian deal, Iran is still called upon to refrain for up to eight years from work on ballistic missiles designed to deliver nuclear weapons.
6. BRITISH PM SLAMS MUSLIM COUNTRIES FOR BANNING ENTRY BY ISRAELIS
by Yoel Domb
Donald Trump's controversial ban on the entry to the US of citizens of seven Muslim countries has also drawn attention to a less known prohibition instituted by 16 Muslim countries against the entry of Israeli citizens into their territory. The issue reached the British parliament on Wednesday, where British Prime Minister Theresa May denounced the discrimination against Israelis and called on Opposition Leader Jeremy Corbyn to join her in denouncing the discrimination.
At a Prime Minister's Questions session in the House of Commons Wednesday, May was asked about the issue by Conservative MP Theresa Villiers.
May answered that "it is absolutely right that this house should be aware of the discrimination and the ban that exists around the world…particularly for those who are Israeli citizens."
"We are consistent with our approach. We don't agree with that approach [of banning entry to countries by citizens] and it's not an approach that we will be taking. And I wait for the day when the right honorable gentleman opposite actually stands up and condemns it, too."
Corbyn has been accused in the past of anti-Semitic statements, such as when he appeared to compare Israel to the Islamic State in a speech against anti-Semitism within the Labor party.
The list of nations that bar entry to Israeli nationals include six of the seven countries targeted by Trump's action.
Photos showing the list — including Algeria, Bangladesh, Brunei, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, United Arab Emirates and Yemen — have gone viral on Facebook in recent days.
7. IRAN: OUR MISSILE TESTS DON'T VIOLATE NUCLEAR DEAL
by Elad Benari
Iran's Defense Minister confirmed on Wednesday that the country had carried out a fresh missile test, but argued the test does not breach the nuclear agreement Iran signed with six world powers.
"The recent test was in line with our [defense] program," Defense Minister Hossein Dehqan said, according to the Tehran Times.
"Our missile tests do not conflict with the nuclear deal or Resolution 2231," he insisted, referring to the UN resolution which bars Iran from conducting ballistic missile tests for eight years and which went into effect on July 20, 2015, days after Iran and six world powers agreed to the landmark nuclear deal in Vienna.
Dehqan also stressed that Tehran will press ahead with its missile program.
The Iranian minister's comments come two days after Fox News revealed that the Islamic Republic conducted a ballistic missile test on Sunday at a well-known test site outside the city of Semnan, approximately 140 miles east of Tehran.
On Tuesday, officials told Fox News that in early December, Iran had conducted a secret missile launch, in which it fired a Shahab-3, an intermediate-range ballistic missile capable of flying 800 miles.
Since the signing of the nuclear agreement, Iran has tested ballistic missiles several times in violation of the deal, prompting condemnations from the Security Council.
On Monday, after Sunday's test was revealed, Senator Bob Corker (R-TN), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, vowed to hold Iran accountable.
"No longer will Iran be given a pass for its repeated ballistic missile violations, continued support of terrorism, human rights abuses and other hostile activities that threaten international peace and security," he said.
"I look forward to working with my colleagues and the administration to hold Iran accountable for this and other violations while ensuring radical enforcement of existing restrictions on its nuclear program," added Corker.
Meanwhile on Wednesday, President Donald Trump's National Security Adviser, Michael Flynn, said the United States was putting Iran "on notice" following the ballistic missile test, accusing the Islamic Republic of "destabilizing activity" and of violating the Security Council resolution.
Despite Flynn's comments, however, a Pentagon spokesman later told Reuters that the United States military has not changed its posture in response to the Iran test.
